BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The York College women's basketball team lost on the road to Brooklyn College, 102-47 on Friday night.
Brooklyn's Alexandra led the Bulldogs to victory with 17 points, three assists and one steal.
York got 13 points, five rebounds and one assist from
Ellma Hodzic. Freshman
Mac-Dege Dessources chipped in with ten points, 14 rebounds and three blocks.
The Cardinals were once again done in by turnovers, committing 44, which led to 55 Brooklyn College points. York shot 30 percent as a team, compared to 39 percent for Brooklyn College.
The loss drops York's record to 0-5, 0-1 CUNYAC. Brooklyn is now 3-0, 1-0 CUNYAC. York will be at Hunter on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
