PURCHASE, N.Y.—The York College men's basketball team fell 86-77 to Manhattanville Saturday afternoon.
York had trouble finding its rhythm all game, trailing by double digits. However, York cut the lead to five with just 17 seconds left in the game. The Cardinals would be unable to get any closer as Manhattanville hit three out of four free throws to close out the game.
In the loss, York got 18 points, five boards and five assists from
Devine Chisholm, while
Taishaun Forehand-Jenkins finished with 15 points and four rebounds.
Maliqe John tallied 11 points and six boards.
Manhattanville was led by Sean Smith with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
With the loss, York drops to 3-4, 0-1 CUNYAC, Manhattanville is 4-3. The Cardinals will return to action on Tuesday with an away game vs. Hunter at 7 p.m.
