RIVERDALE, NY- The York women's volleyball team played in their final game Thursday night against Mount Saint Vincent and lost by a score of 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-18).

In the first set, York kept it close and trailed 5-6 early in the match. The Dolphins would then go on a commanding 19-2 run to find themselves taking the 1-0 lead in the opening set.Â

In the second set of play, the Cardinals put up a strong effort staying close in the early in the match. After the Dolphins took a 13-6 lead, the team rallied to score 12 of the last 18 total points to win the second set.Â

The final set was played differently regarding competition, as both sides traded points for most of the game. Mount Saint Vincent, however, pulled away to win in straight sets.
 As a team, the Cardinals put up four aces to go along with 11 kills.
Kassandra Diaz led the team with 9 digs while also chipping in two aces.Â

York ends the season with a final record of 0-19, 0-10 CUNYAC.
