BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The York College women's volleyball team fell to CUNYAC rival Brooklyn College on the road Tuesday by a score of 3-0 (25-6, 25-7, 25-9).
The Bulldogs controlled the match from start to finish, recording 30 kills and hitting .231 on the evening. They also served up 18 aces in the match.
Kiara Gonzalez led York in defeat with three aces, while
Kassandra Diaz and
Chanelle Quezada each registered eight digs.
Brooklyn's Michaela Appel had a big game, recording 25 kills, five aces, and 11 digs.
With the loss, York is now 0-18, 0-8 CUNYAC. Brooklyn ups its mark to 17-7, 7-1 CUNYAC. The Cardinals will go on the road for their final match of the season when they visit Mount Saint Vincent at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 25.
