BROOKLYN, N.Y.— York scored the first four goals of the game and held the lead for 70 minutes of play. The York College men's soccer team turned into despair as Medgar Evers College scored five unanswered goals including the game-winning goal in the first two minutes of overtime, to defeat York 5-4 in a critical CUNY Athletic Conference contest on Saturday evening.
 
It was an emotional roller coaster for the Cardinals all match.  York could not hold on four leads, which allowed Medgar Evers to force overtime. But just two minutes into overtime, Voshawn Juba scored the game-winner, giving the Cougars the exciting victory.
 
Four Cardinals scored Ivan Brito assisted by Gonzalez; Jean Arias Gonzalez assisted by Brito, Rohan Burrell assisted by Oscar Rojas and Ebrahim Ramos assisted by Burrell.  

York will try to rebound from the tough loss when they host New Jersey City University on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. at Aviator Field.
