BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The York College women's basketball team lost on the road to Brooklyn College, 73-35, on Thursday night.
Brooklyn's Karen Mak led the Bulldogs to victory with 15 points, seven assists and eight steals.
York got 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists from
Karen Bellamy.
The Cardinals were once again done in by turnovers, committing 39, which led to 34 Brooklyn College points. York shot 30 percent as a team, compared to 34 percent for Brooklyn College.
The loss drops York's record to 3-10, 1-5 CUNYAC. Brooklyn is now 13-2, 6-1 CUNYAC. York will host CCNY on Saturday at 1 p.m.
