Women's Soccer Downed by Maritime

THROGGS NECK, N.Y.-- The York College women's soccer team lost another tough match on Wednesday night, falling to Maritime College, 9-0.

Caitline Etienne led Maritime with four goals on the night, while Sara Wright had two. Three other players scored a goal apiece. Maritime kept York keeper Stephanie Gutierrez busy all night, firing 25 shots on goal. Gutierrez finished with a season-high 16 saves.

The Cardinals are now 0-8. Maritime is 4-2-1.  York hosts CCNY on Saturday at 2 p.m.
