QUEENS, N.Y.-- The York College women's soccer team lost to the City College of New York on Saturday at home by a score of 6-0.

The CCNY Beavers took advantage of a fast start to the first half and didn't look back. Daniela Grisales-Ahudelo led the CCNY Beavers with one goal and three assists—all in the first half.

In the second half, York played with much more of a physical edge and held CCNY to only one goal, which came in in the final seconds of play.

York falls to 0-9, while City College of New York improves to 4-3-1. York will visit St Joseph's College-Long Island at Patchogue, NY and look to bring the same competitive edge they played with in the second half on Thursday at 7p.m.
