York Women’s Soccer Blanked by Purchase College

BROOKLYN, NY- The York women's soccer team was in action Saturday afternoon as they faced Purchase College and fell by a score of 6-0.
 
The Cardinals couldn't get much offense generated throughout the whole game and the Panthers dominated for most of the contest
 
Cerissa DiValentino and Brett Robinson each had a pair of goals for the Panthers in the contest. For the Cardinals, Stephanie Gutierrez had 13 saves in the game, but the offense of Purchase was too much for York to handle.
 
The Cardinals next game comes on the road as they square off against Maritime College on Wednesday, September 27th at 7:00 pm.
