PURCHASE, N.Y.—The York College men's soccer team fell short on the road, 4-0, against Sarah Lawrence College.
 
Both Finn Macmillan and Mohamed Camara for Sarah Lawrence scored two goals each to lead the way. The first goal was scored within the first five minutes of the game off a free kick header by Finn Macmillan and assisted by Alix Legrand. Again, later in the half at the 26 minute mark Finn Macmillan would score off a cross into the box.
 
After two shots on goal in the first half from York and six corner kicks, they were unable to secure a goal after controlling the pace a majority of the first half.
 
The second half started off similar to the first.  Sarah Lawrence got a fast goal within the first two minutes by Mohamed Camara. Again, at the 57 minute mark, Mohamed Camara would score off a cross into the box with an assist from Carlos Rivandeneyra to secure the victory for his team.
 
Nigel Sampson was able to come up with three saves during the game after 12 shots from Sarah Lawrence.
 
York falls to 1-4 and looks to make progress in the right direction against New Jersey City University away on Sunday at 4 p.m.
