Men’s Tennis Edged by Albertus Magnus, 5-4, in Final Match of the Year

JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College men's tennis team was narrowly defeated by Albertus Magnus College by a score of 5-4 in its final match of the season.
 
In singles play, Felix Liew won at #3 singles, 4-6, 7-5, 10-2 and Abir Dupu was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at #5 singles. Davendra Ramnarain also won 6-0, 6-1 at #6 singles.
 
In doubles play, Dupu and Ramnarain won 8-2 at #3. 
 
The contest was decided on a couple close matches.  In doubles, Liew and Vimal Ramnarian were edged 9-8 at the second flight, while Rahim Houston lost in three sets at #1 singles.
 
With the loss, York closes the season with a record of 0-13.
