JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College men's tennis team came up empty in its season opener on Thursday, losing 9-0 to Sarah Lawrence College at home.
The Gryphons swept each singles match. The most competitive match of the day came at #2 singles, where
Vimal Ramnarain lost to Ian Gonzalez, 6-3, 6-1.
York returns to action on Monday with a match at Brooklyn College at 3:30 p.m. Although Brooklyn is a CUNYAC opponent, this match will count as a non-conference match.
