Men’s Tennis Loses 8-1 Decision to St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn

JAMAICA, N.Y.—York's Ralph Ramos won a hard-fought match at #4 singles, but the rest of the Cardinals were not as fortunate, as the men's tennis team lost to St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon.
 
Ramos won a three-set match over St. Joseph's Alec Smalley, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 to earn his first win of the young season.  St. Joseph's was able to win all the other matches in straight sets.  In doubles play, Ramos and Felix Liew kept it close at the second flight, but lost, 8-5.
 
York drops to 0-4, while St. Joes is 1-0. The Cardinals visit Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
