LANCASTER, P.A.—The York College men's volleyball team dropped two matches on the road Wednesday afternoon, falling to host Lancaster Bible College, 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-13) and later losing to Wilkes University (25-10, 25-12, 25-17).
 
Larry Moore and Akeem George led York (0-3) against Lancaster Bible (5-2) with four kills apiece. Paramvir Singh had a match-high eight digs, while Burrel Kirk Murray had three kills, two blocks and seven digs.
 
York had trouble stopping Lancaster's serve, as they allowed 17 aces on the afternoon.  Jacob Faust led the Chargers with five of those aces.
 
In their second match of the day, against Wilkes (3-3), York once again had trouble returning serves—this time allowing 21 aces.  Michael Henne had seven aces, to go along with six kills.
 
For York, Murray had a team-high five kills and two solo blocks.
 
The Cardinals will return to action on February 7th with a home match against Lehman College.
