FARMINGDALE, N.Y.—The York College women's volleyball team fell to Farmingdale State College away Wednesday by a score of 3-0 (25-8, 25-4, 25-19).

Allison Ahmed led York in defeat with nine assists and six digs, while Allison Li had three kills and six digs. Chayan Jimenez had three kills and five digs.

Farmingdale State's LaurenAnne Strezenec, had a huge match, recording six aces and 18 assists. While Annie Cosgrave had six kills and seven aces.
 
The Farmingdale State Rams had no trouble setting the tone of the match with powerful and precision aces by their two leaders Strezenec and Cosgrave. The two combined for 13 aces.
 
Farmingdale State College improves to 8-7, while York drops to 1-14. The Cardinals will host Penn State Abington in the York College Gymnasium on Friday at 6 p.m..
