JAMAICA, N.Y.—Three members of the York College women's tennis team earned their first career victory on Friday afternoon in a 7-2 loss to St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn.
 
Preciosa Pinedo was 6-3, 6-1 winner over St. Joe's Isabella Benitez at #3 singles.  In doubles play, the #2 lineup of Isabelle Martinez and Crystal Perez edged Benitez and Lilanna McKenna, 9-8.
 
St. Joe's was able to win the other seven matches convincingly to get the victory.
 
St. Joseph's is now 2-7, while York is 0-10.
