Men’s Soccer Falls to CCNY, 4-0

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The York College men's soccer team fell to the City College of New York by a score of 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
 
York never threatened in this game, as CCNY scored two goals in the first half and two in the second and held a 18-5 shot advantage.  Of York's five shots, only one was on net.
 
CCNY's Kenan Redzematovic was responsible for all the scoring in the first half, as he found the back of the net in the 23rd and 33rd minutes. 
 
In the second half, CCNY put the game well out of reach with goals from Miguel Muniz and Jimmy Mendoza in the 52nd and 83rd minutes respectively.
 
With the loss, York is now 0-9, 0-3 CUNYAC. CCNY improves to 5-4-1,3-0-1 CUNYAC.
 
The Cardinals will try for that first win of the season again on Saturday when they host John Jay College at 11 a.m.
