BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The York College women's volleyball team could not get much going against St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) on Wednesday night. The Cardinals fell 3-0 (25-5, 25-12, 25-16).
St. Joseph's was in control all night, thanks in most part to its service game. The Bears served up 22 aces on the night—11 of which came from Elizabeth Quahliero. St. Joe's was also efficient at the net, hitting .283 (24-9-53).
In the loss, York got five kills each from
Tiandra Jones and
Shauncia McClendon.
York (2-5) will have a quick turnaround, as they visit Lehman College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
