Men’s Tennis Avoids Shutout Against Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.--- The York College men's tennis team lost to Staten Island, 8-1, Thursday afternoon. 
 
The lone victory of the match for the Cardinals came from number two singles player Vimal Ramnarain who defeated Mitchel Voloshin 6-2,6-3. 
 
Number three singles Brandon Nickel of Staten Island beat York's Robertini Regis 6-2, 4-6, 10-5 in a hard-fought three set match. 
 
York falls to 0-10 on the year with the loss.  The Cardinals will host CCNY Friday at 3:30 p.m.
