York Men’s Tennis Drops Two Matches Over Weekend

The York College men's tennis team had a tough weekend losing to John Jay, 9-0, and Albertus Magnus, 9-0.

Against John Jay, at number six singles, Ahmed Adam of York was able to pick up five total games against Luis Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-3.

Against Alburtus Magnus, York's number two singles player Felix Liew lost 6-1, 6-4 to Cerrone Bell. In number one doubles, York's Felix Liew and Vimal Ramnarain were able to win two games against Peter Zacharias and Mathew Mezzel, 8-2.

York is now 0-8 (0-5 CUNYAC). York's next match is at Sarah Lawrence Tuesday at 6:30.
