NEW YORK, N.Y.—The York College men's volleyball team went down quietly to defending CUNYAC Champion Baruch College in three sets (25-8, 25-10, 25-15) on Wednesday evening.
York was led by
Randy Adams, who made his season debut, and finished with six kills. Baruch got 10 kills from Stephen Roach and eight from Jacob Rudin.
Baruch took the first two sets easily, jumping out to early leads, which they extended throughout. In the third set, York kept it tight in the early-going, until Baruch pulled away midway through the set.
The Cardinals are 2-4, 1-2 CUNYAC. They will take on John Jay College and City College at multi-match held at John Jay on Monday. York will take on CCNY at 3 p.m. and John Jay at 11 a.m.
