NEW YORK, N.Y.—York College junior
Randy Adams had two big performances, leading York to a split of two matches on Monday afternoon. York fell to John Jay College 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-19), but defeated City College of New York 3-1 (37-35, 25-20, 17-25, 25-23).
Adams compiled 19 kills and hit .500, to go along with ten aces and three blocks in the win over CCNY and had 11 kills with a .350 percentage and six digs in the loss to John Jay.
Anson Webb also had a strong performance against CCNY with 11 kills and two aces and
Akeem George finished with eight kills.
Larry Moore was nearly perfect; recording seven kills on ten attempts with zero hitting errors.
Paramvir Singh recorded 38 assists and a team-high 16 digs.
York is now 3-5, 2-3 CUNYAC. They visit Hunter College on Thursday at 6 p.m.
