NEW YORK, N.Y.—The York College women's soccer team could not get anything going against CCNY on Wednesday afternoon, losing by a score of 4-0.
York (4-8) was competing in a non-conference game against its CUNYAC rival. Their CUNYAC contest will come later this month.
CCNY (4-6) scored three of its goals in the first half, putting the game away early. Melany Caceres score two goals to lead the Beavers, including the opener in the sixth minute.
Sarah Hilaire made eight saves in goal for York.
The Cardinals will host the College of Staten Island on Saturday at noon at Randall's Island.
