JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College men's tennis team was overmatched by the College of Staten Island in a City University of New York Athletic Conference match on a cold, windy afternoon at the York College Tennis Courts on Monday. Staten Island won by a score of 9-0.
Staten Island was never threatened, as they won all singles matches in straight sets. The loss drops York's record to 0-2, 0-1 CUNYAC, while Staten Island improves to 2-0 overall, 2-0 CUNYAC.
York will return to action with a non-conference contest on Thursday at Farmingdale State College beginning at 4:30 p.m.
