NEW YORK, N.Y.— The York College men's basketball team struggled against Baruch College in a CUNYAC contest Friday night, losing on the road by a score of 85-62.
Baruch was white hot from the field all evening, shooting 52.5 percent for the game. Jack Shanahan was 11-of-15 from the field, scoring 26 points and grabbing seven boards. Doyin Isaac scored 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting and Chimaechi Ekekeugbor had eight points, 11 boards and six assists.
York was led by
Rashaan Bailey with 16 points, five boards and three assists.
Sasha Clarida chipped in 15 points and five boards.
The Cardinals are now a 2-8, 0-4 CUNYAC, while Baruch is 5-4, 2-1 CUNYAC. The Cardinals next game will be December 20th in the San Juan, Puerto Rico tournament against Carthage College.
