BOX SCORE 2 PURCHASE, N.Y. – The York College women's volleyball team dropped two matches on Saturday at Manhattanville College. The Cardinals fell to host Manhattanville, 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-13), before losing to Mt. St. Mary College 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-19).
In the opening match, it was
Stayce Kay Muirhead leading the way once again for York, as she finished with ten kills and three blocks.
Shauncia McClendon had four kills and
Allison Li added ten digs. Setter
Kiranjeet Kaur notched 12 assists and nine digs.
Against Mt. St. Mary, Muirhead had a match-high seven aces and a .368 hitting percentage. Li had another good defensive match, with a match-high 15 digs, while McClendon recorded ten digs.
York (1-12) will visit the College of Saint Elizabeth on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
