Hilaire Wins First Career Match but Women’s Tennis Falls to Baruch
FLUSHING, N.Y.—
Sarah Hilaire picked up her first-ever tennis victory but it would not be enough as the York women's tennis team fell to Baruch College, 8-1, on Friday at the U.S. National Tennis Center.
Hilaire won, 6-4, 6-3 at #3 singles to help avoid the shutout. The loss drops York's record to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the CUNYAC. Baruch improves to 3-2, 2-0 CUNYAC. The Cardinals will host their home opener on Wednesday, September 24 at 3:30 p.m. against Lehman College.
