Tennis Wins Third Straight; Tops Lehman, 6-3

RESULTS

JAMAICA, N.Y.- The York College men's tennis team picked its up its third straight win, defeating conference-rival Lehman College, 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
 
After dropping the first three matches of the season, York is now 3-3.  Today's match was their first conference contest, giving them a 1-0 CUNYAC record. Lehman drops to 1-5, 0-3 CUNYAC with the loss.
 
York started out sweeping doubles play.  Haseeb Raza and Hasnain Khatri won 8-6 at first singles and Anthony Omoragbon and Elnathan Atwell won by the same score at second singles.  Ruel Quamina and Shun Ramnauth won 8-4 at #3 doubles.
 
York picked up victories at first, second and fifth singles to clinch the win.  Raza, Khatri and Quamina were the winners of those respective matches.
 
York will return to action on Wednesday when they host Hunter College at 3:30 p.m.
