RESULTSJAMAICA, N.Y. – The York College men's tennis team fell to Hunter College, 6-0, in the quarterfinals of the CUNY Athletic Conference Championships on Friday afternoon.
The Cardinals came into the match as the #7 seed but played on their home courts against the second-seeded Hawks, but the home-court advantage did not play a factor in the match. The Hawks cruised to victory. All matches were won in straight sets, and in four of the six contests, Hunter did not surrender a game.
The Cardinals (4-10) will close out the season on Monday night at 7 p.m. when they face St. joseph's College-Brooklyn at the USTA National Tennis Center.
