NEWBURGH, N.Y.— The York College women's tennis team continued its busy week in a non-conference contest vs. Mount Saint Mary College. With some of their top players missing, many Cardinals were forced to play up a flight and the results reflected that, as they lost by a score of 9-0.

Julia Asoeva, who is normally play either #3 or #4 singles were at #1 and #2 respectively. The two put up a good fight put came up short.
With the loss, York is now 1-6 on the season, while Mt. St. Mary improves to 3-7 with the victory. The Cardinals will have a day off on Thursday and then return to action on Friday when they host CUNYAC opponent Brooklyn College at 3:30 p.m.
