Men’s Tennis Drops Matches to Baruch and Ramapo Over the Weekend

JAMAICA, N.Y. – The York College men's tennis team was on the losing side of two matches this weekend. The Cardinals were blanked, 9-0, by conference-foe Baruch College on Friday, and lost to Ramapo College in a non-conference contest by an 8-1 score on Saturday.
York's lone victory came from Andrzej Moczulksi, who defeated Ramapo's Xavier Espinosa 7-5, 7-5 at fifth singles. With the win, he improved to 3-2 in singles play and 3-0 at the #5 flight.
Baruch improves to 6-2, 4-0 in the CUNYAC and Ramapo is now 6-3. York drops to 0-6, and 0-3 in CUNYAC play. They will return to action on Tuesday when they battle CCNY at the USTA Tennis Center at 3:30 p.m.
