Men’s Tennis Falls to St. Joseph’s, 6-3
RESULTS
PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – The York College men's tennis team lost a closely contested match against St. Joseph's College (Long Island) on Tuesday evening, losing by a score of 6-3.
In doubles play, York fell behind 2-1 but was able to pick up a win at the second flight.
Iheanyi Agbor and Andre Moczulski edged the team of Brian Hicks and Stephen Fox, 9-8.
In singles action, the same two Cardinals were winners, as Agbor won 6-3, 2-6, 10-4 at #3 singles and Mozulski was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at #5 singles. However, St. Joe's took the other four singles matches to earn the victory.
St. Joseph's improves to 2-3 with the victory, while York drops to 0-3. The Cardinals will host the College of Staten Island on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
