Men’s Tennis Drops 8-1 Decision to Hunter

JAMAICA, NY – The York College men's tennis team lost a conference contest to Hunter College on Monday afternoon, losing by an 8-1 tally.

York was without its #1 singles player and therefore was forced to play with everyone moved up one spot. The Hawks took advantage, winning all five singles matches in straight sets. York's lone victory came at #4 singles, where Andrzej Moczulski was a 6-1, 6-4 winner.

The loss drops York to 2-7, 1-4 in CUNYAC play, while Hunter improves to 5-4, 4-1 in the CUNYAC. York will visit Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
