JAMAICA, N.Y. - On Saturday, the York College women's tennis team dropped the last regular season match to the Pratt Institute Cannoneers, 8-1.
The Cardinals struggled during doubles, dropping all three matches to the Cannoneers.
For the single matches, York's
Joanne Ly managed to steal a win against Pratt's Rachel Caires winning 6-2, 2-6, (10-8). Pratt Institute won the rest of the single matches.
The Cardinals end the regular season with a record of 1-12, while Pratt Institute is now 7-1. The Cardinals will be the eighth and final seed in the CUNYAC Quarterfinals on October 20. They will visit the College of Staten Island at a time to be determined.
