Women’s Tennis Tops John Jay, 7-2
RESULTS
JAMAICA, N.Y.— The York College women's tennis team had little trouble disposing of conference-rival, John Jay College Thursday.
Valerie Roland led York, earning victories at both singles and doubles play. Roland was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at first singles and an 8-2 winner at first doubles with teammate
Nina Olladikankwu.
Anna Ko improved to 2-0 in singles play on the year with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at fourth singles, while
Maleeka Chin was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at #3 singles.
York, 1-1, 1-0 in the CUNYAC, will return to action on Friday when they host Purchase College at 4:00 p.m.
