The York College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will have their sights set on bringing the CUNYAC Championship back to York College this weekend when they compete at Icahn Stadium for the 2012 CUNYAC Championship.
Day one of the Championship begins on Friday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Icahn Stadium, which is located on Randall's Island (
Directions can be found here). The men's and women's 10k, as well as a number of field events will take place on Friday, with the remaining events going off on Sunday, May 13, beginning at 9 a. m.
The men's team has seven titles and the women have five—both are the most of any team in the CUNYAC. Both teams last won the conference title in the 2010 season and will be hoping to add to that number this weekend.
Admission is free, so come on out to Randall's Island for some exciting track action!
