Men’s Tennis Falls Short Against Staten Island
RESULTS
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The York College men's tennis team came up a bit short in a conference match against the College of Staten Island on Saturday, losing by a score of 7-2.
York's
Iheanyi Agbor improved to 4-2 on the season, with a come-from-behind, 6-7, 6-4, 12-10 victory over CSI's Oscar Wu at #4 singles. York also picked up a win in doubles play, with
Gary Reynoso and
Trevon Phillips winning 8-6 at #2 doubles. CSI took the remaining matches.
York falls to 1-6, 1-3 in the CUNYAC, while CSI improves to 3-5, 2-2 in the CUNYAC. The Cardinals will host Lehman College eon Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
