Peguero Wins 400-meter Hurdles at Queens College Invitational
QUEENS, N.Y—York College junior track and field athlete,
Christopher Peguero took first place in the men's 400-meter hurdles (1:01.40) and
Kemillia John placed fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:10.2) to lead the Cardinals track and field team at the Queens College Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
It was the Cardinals' second meet in as many days but fatigue didn't seem to have too much of an effect on the York squad. Also placing for York was
Olabimpe M. Ologundudu, who finished second in the high jump with a height of 1.77 meters.
There was no team scoring for this event. York will return to action when they run at the FDU Invitational in Palisades Park, NJ next Saturday.
