York Wins Three Events at Queensborough Relays

RESULTS

QUEENS, N.Y—The York College men's and women's track and field team won three events and placed in two others in its opening meet of the outdoor season at the Queensborough Relays Saturday afternoon.

Kemilla John was first in the women's 400-meter dash (1:05.06); Tarik Weeks won the men's 1500-meter run (4:22.10); and Olabimpe M. Ologundudu was the winner in the men's high jump (1.77 meters).  In addition, Christopher Peguero placed second in the men's 400-meter hurdles (1:02.47) and Johane Accime placed third in the women's 400-meter dash (1:07.24).

Some other results of note include a fourth-place finish for Danielle Dunn in the javelin throw (17.71 meters) and a fifth-place finish for Steve Burnett in the men's javelin throw (32.64 meters).

York will return to action on March 24 when they compete in the Stockton Invitational in Galloway, NJ
