Men and Women Place 5th and 7th Respectively at CUNYAC Swim Championships

RESULTS

The York College men's and women's swimming teams placed fifth and seventh place respectively at the 2012 Applebee's/ CUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships held at Lehman College this weekend.

Baruch College swept the championships, taking both the men's and women's title. The Bearcats blew away the competition on boths sides. The women scored 1,058 points, which was 148 points more than second-place Hunter College. On the men's side, Baruch score 1,007 points, which was 271.5 points more than second-place Lehman College.

Averie Mohammed led York on day three with a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (1:06.92).
