Women’s Hoops Stumbles, Suffers Disappointing Loss at Purchase

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The York College women's basketball team got off to a slow start Saturday and was unable to close the gap, losing 67-26 against Purchase College.

Alicia Lee grabbed eight of her own to go along with her game high five blocks.
The Panthers (2-6) came out strong, going 15-34 (44%) powering them to a commanding 43-13 lead at halftime. Lineker St. Hilaire led the way with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and six steals. Jess Lindsay also added 17 points and six rebounds to help propel Purchase to victory.
