Women’s Soccer Loses Non-Conference Game to Lehman

BRONX, NY—The York College women's soccer team played a non-conference contest against CUNY Athletic Conference-member, Lehman College on Wednesday and fell to the Lightning by a score of 2-0.
Lehman got two first-half goals and held up defensively to avenge an earlier loss to the Cardinals, back on September 26.
Lehman's Tiffany Altamarino scored just eight minutes into the contest for the first goal and then Samantha Dias netted another goal in the 42
nd minute to round out the scoring.
York had few opportunites to score, as it was held to just three shots on the evening. Lehman took nine shots on the day and York keeper,
Kiara Libreros stopped five shots.
With the loss, York drops to 4-10-1, while Lehman improves to 6-7. The Cardinals will close out the season on Saturday with a match against St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) at 6 p.m. The location of that game has yet to be announced.
