Ko Loses First Match as Women's Tennis is Blanked by CSI

JAMAICA, N.Y.— The York College women's tennis team was unable to slow down the College of Staten Island on Saturday, losing by a score of 9-0. York's
Anna Ko, who came into the match with an unblemished singles record of 8-0, was defated for the first time this season.
Ko lost 6-0, 6-2 to Staten Island's Jessica Barabatko. The rest of the Dolphins also had little trouble disposing of the Cardinals, winning evey match in straight sets.
With the loss, York falls to 2-7, 1-4 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Dolphins improve to 7-4, 6-1 in CUNYAC play. York will host the City College of New York on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
