Women’s Tennis Blanks New Rochelle for Fourth Straight Win
RESULTS
JAMAICA, NY—The York College women's tennis team continued its strong play, winning its fourth straight contest, as they blanked the College of New Rochelle by a score of 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cardinals had little trouble disposing of the Blue Angels. York dropped a total of just seven games combined in all nine matches. In six of those matches, York did not surrender a single game.
Sophomore
Tenzin Kunchok continued her strong play, as she improved to 4-0 in singles play on the season, winning 10-0 at fifth singles.
Amba Chanoine improved to 5-1 on the year as she also cruised to a 10-0 triumph at #3 singles. Freshmn
Nikita Ramsay picked up her second straight singles victory, winning 10-0 at sixth singles.
York (5-3) will host Rutgers-Newark on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
