Kean Tops York, 6-3, in Women’s Tennis
UNION, NJ— The York College women's tennis team came up a bit short in a non-conference contest against Kean University Saturday, losing by a score of 6-3.
The Cardinals earned two victories in singles play and one in doubles.
Amba Chanoine defeated Kean's Erin Hendricks 6-3, 6-4 at # 3 singles and
Anna Ko was a 6-1, 6-4 winner at #5 singles. In doubles play, Ko and
Tenzin Kunchok were 8-5 winners at third doubles.
The Cougars (3-1) picked up straight-set victories in the other singles matches and won at first and second doubles in comfortable fashion.
York (1-3) will host John Jay College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
