Men’s Soccer Struggles Against SUNY Geneseo

GENESEO, NY— The York College men's soccer team struggled against a strong SUNY Geneseo team, losing by a score of 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Knights used four second-half goals to turn a 2-0 halftime lead into a blowout. Geneseo used a balanced attack, with six different players chipping in a goal. They also dominated in shot differential, taking 37 shots on the day, compared to just five for the Cardinals. 14 of those shots were on goal, with York keeper Quddus Kassim stopping eight of them.
The loss drops York's 2011 record to 0-7, while Geneseo improves to 2-1-1.
