Men’s Soccer Drops 3-1 Match to Pennsylvania College of Technology

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— The York College men's soccer team allowed two second-half goals, which made for the difference in the match, as the Cardinals fell by a score of 3-1 to Pennsylvania College of Technology at the Centenary College Tournament in Hackettstown, NJ Saturday afternoon.
The game was scoreless for the first 13 minutes of play until Pennsylvania College opened up the scoring after a free kick by William Deangelo hit off the head of a York defender and ricocheted into the net. Despite, the own goal, York rebounded to get the equalizer later in the first half.

Menard Millus, who beat a defender one-on-one and then found the back of the net. The score would remain 1-1 going into halftime.
In the second half, Pennsylvania broke the tie in the 63
rd minute when Godwin Omo-Ekpadi took a cross and put the ball into the back of the net for a 2-1 lead. Penn College would later pick up an insurance goal in the 86
th minute when Chris Brennan scored unassisted, sealing the victory.
The loss drops York's record to 0-4, while Pennsylvania College of Technology improves to 2-0-1. York returns to action tomorrow to take on host Centenary College at 2:00 p.m.
