York Blanks City Tech For Second Straight Win

JAMAICA, NY – The York College men's tennis team took care of City Tech with ease Thursday afternoon, defeating its conference rival by a score of 9-0 to pick up its second consecutive victory.

York's Ayman Busat dominated, winning his #1 singles match 6-0, 6-1 and then teamed up with Erick Giron to win 8-0 at #1 doubles. Jay June also won easily, earning a 6-0, 6-0 victory at second singles and an 8-0 victory with partner Iheayni Agbor at second doubles.

With the win, York improves to 3-6, 1-3 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals will visit City College on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
