York Gets Back on Track with Win over St. Joseph’s

JAMAICA, NY— The York College men's tennis team got back in the win column Wednesday afternoon, defeating St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) by a score of 8-1.
The bottom half of the lineup really took it to the Bears as the #4, #5, and #6 singles matches were each won by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Erick Giron, Michael Lateef and Iheanyi Agbor were the winners of those matches respectively. Meanwhile, Ayman Busat was a 6-3, 6-3 winner at first singles, while Justin Mo was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at third singles.
York swept the doubles matches to round out the scoring.
With the win, York improves to 2-6, while St. Joseph's drops to 0-3.
