Lady Cardinals Fall to Keystone in Women’s Volleyball

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team fell to Keystone College 3-1 (0-25, 25-8, 25-13, 25-14) in a non-conference match Friday evening.
Keystone proved to be too much for the Lady Cardinals, hitting at a.408 hitting percentage for the night. The Giants were led by Roseann Rutledge who recorded a match-high seven kills, while libero Kendra Bianchi finished the night with a match-high ten digs, to go along with five assists.
York was led by Maria Suero-Santos who banged four kills on the night. $Miryam Candela$ and Emely Vasquez each had two aces apiece.
With the loss, York drops to 2-5 on the season. They will visit Rutgers-Newark on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
